Hi Everyone!
So it's not even a week into the campaign, and you've all already got the 'The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals' total up to just about $50K! Again, we're speechless, humbled, and SO grateful. But let's not stop now. Let's see how high we can get the total by the end of the weekend!
As an extra incentive to pledge (and as a thank-you to those who have pledged already), we're going to be giving everyone who backs this project by the end of the weekend (so Sunday, June 24th at midnight, Pacific Standard Time) a digital download packet containing a collection of Jeff Blim's deleted songs from 'The Trail To Oregon!'
This includes anyone who has backed already, and anyone who backs by Sunday at midnight (PST). The link to the digital song packet will be sent out after the Kickstarter campaign has ended in July.
For those of you who might not know, 'The Trail To Oregon!' (our 2014 musical spoof of the classic computer game) was in development for years. In that time, the show went through many incarnations and Jeff Blim (the show's creator & composer) wrote a slew of songs that never made it into the final StarKid production. At times the show was about 90's kids getting shot back in time to the real Oregon Trail, secret government missions to save the world from a mutant strain of dysentery, magical janitors, and Jack Bauer (literally the character from '24'). This special collection of deleted & alternate songs contains un-heard gems from all these fun, insane versions of the show.
